Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes the ways in which Personal Information about individuals (“Users” or “you”) who register to and or attend the Ipsen PCa Week (the “Event”) may be collected and processed by Ipsen Pharma Singapore Pte Ltd, 20 Anson Road, #10-03 Twenty Anson, 079912 Singapore (“Ipsen”), the data controller.

THIS PRIVACY POLICY MAY PERIODICALLY CHANGE, BE MODIFIED, OR OTHERWISE UPDATED WITHOUT PRIOR NOTIFICATION. However, your Personal Information (as defined below) will always be handled in accordance with the Privacy Policy that was in effect at the time of collection. 

1. Personal Information collected:
   
  Ipsen may collect Personal Information when you register to and or attend the Event, including full name, email address, mobile number and your specialty. 

If you wish to register to and or attend the Event, these categories of Personal Information are mandatory.

When you register to the Event, we clearly label which information is required for registration, and which information is optional and may be given at your discretion.
   
   
2. Use of Personal Information:
   
 

Ipsen will use personal information relating to you for the purposes of:

  • Inviting you at the Event, 
  • Registering you at the Event, organizing the Event and ensuring your attendance at the Event,
  • Responding to your questions or other communication (e.g. Pharmacovigilance, Medical Information) during the Event,
  • Following up with you after the Event with respect to the Event and or any questions or other communication that you raised during the Event (e.g. PV, Medical Information, Satisfaction Survey on the Event). 
  • Complying with legal or regulatory obligations that apply to Ipsen (e.g. pharmacovigilance, transparency obligations) or to respond to legal requests from administrative or judicial authorities, in accordance with applicable laws.
  • Send you service communications through email (i.e. event updates, password changes etc).

Your Personal Information will only be processed for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by Ipsen, namely registering you to the Event and allowing you to attend the Event.

Information related to you will only be accessed by Ipsen’s and its affiliates’ personnel with a relevant and tangible need to see your information for the purpose mentioned above. 

We may disclose your personal information to third parties in connection with the above purposes, including:

  • third parties who we engage to provide services to us in connection with the Event (including the webinars), such as outsourced service providers, IT services providers, professional advisers and auditors; 
  • other members of our group or affiliates;
  • competent regulatory authorities and bodies as requested or required by law.

Your personal information will not be shared or otherwise distributed to third parties without your consent, except where we are required to do so because of an applicable law, court order or governmental regulation, or if such disclosure is otherwise necessary in support of any criminal or other legal investigation or proceeding here or abroad.

Your personal information will not be sold.

   
   
3. Term of retention of Personal Information
   
  Your Personal Information is processed and kept for no more than three years from the latter: (i) its collection or (ii) the latest contact we have with you.
   
   
4. International transfers of data 
   
  Your personal data may be processed by service providers or companies affiliated with Ipsen in other countries which do not ensure an adequate level of protection to personal data. In order to ensure that your personal data are protected, Ipsen will, where necessary, enter into data transfer agreements which include the EU Commission's standard contractual clauses, or will adopt Binding Corporate Rules (BCRs) for transfers of personal data within the group of companies. Such contract or BCRs can be made available to you upon request.
   
   
5. Security
   
  Your Personal Information will be stored on secure servers and maintained strictly confidential.  You are responsible for maintaining the secrecy of your unique password and account information.

You may have the following rights regarding your information depending on the circumstances and applicable legislation:

Right What does this mean?
The right of access You have the right to obtain access to the information processed by Ipsen. 
The right to rectification You are entitled to have your information corrected if it is inaccurate or incomplete. 
The right to erasure This is also known as ‘the right to be forgotten’ and, in simple terms, enables you to request the deletion or removal of your information where there is no compelling reason for Ipsen to keep using it. This is not a general right to erasure; there are exceptions. 
The right to restrict processing You have rights to ‘block’ or suppress further use of your information in certain circumstances. When processing is restricted, Ipsen can still store your information, but may not use it further. 
The right to data portability You have rights to obtain and reuse your personal data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format in certain circumstances.
The right to object  You have the right to object to certain types of processing, in certain circumstances.
